Optelec US, Inc. launches the next generation in their LED illuminated magnifier series, the PowerMag+. On December 18, 2007, Chief Executive Officer of Optelec US, Takashi Yamashita, and Managing Partner of Schweizer, Alfred Schuettinger, signed an agreement to exclusively co-develop the next generation of the PowerMag.

The new PowerMag+ combines the easy-to-use design of the PowerMag with superior production technology and optics of the Schweizer brand, making magnification reading simple and effective.

There are ten powers and five different illumination colors including the latest SMD LED technology for a remarkably bright and even light distribution. Additional key features include stronger materials enhancing durability, and the high quality German optics.
